8. Free Roof Inspection Requests

RUOFF may offer free roof inspections from time to time. A request for a free inspection is only a request for an appointment and does not guarantee:

• That an inspection will be available;
• That RUOFF will accept the request;
• That a particular date or time will be available;
• That every roof area or property condition can be inspected;
• That damage, defects, or all potential problems will be discovered;
• That RUOFF will recommend a repair or replacement; or
• That RUOFF will perform any work.

Inspection appointments may be subject to weather, safety conditions, property access, scheduling, service-area limitations, and other restrictions. A property owner or authorized representative must provide safe and lawful access to the relevant property areas.

An inspection is not an engineering report, structural certification, insurance coverage determination, appraisal, code-compliance certification, or guarantee of future roof performance. Customers should obtain independent advice when appropriate.

9. Appointment Requests and Communications

When you submit a form, call RUOFF, request an appointment, or otherwise contact the Company, you agree that RUOFF and its service providers may use the information you provide to:

By submitting or uploading User Submissions, you grant RUOFF and its affiliates, contractors, vendors, insurers, professional advisers, and service providers a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, transferable, sublicensable license to host, store, reproduce, use, review, modify as technically necessary, transmit, and disclose the User Submissions as reasonably necessary to:

• Communicate with you, your property representatives, or your insurer;

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, RUOFF'S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE WEBSITE OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF: (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO RUOFF FOR WEBSITE-RELATED SERVICES DURING THE SIX MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM; OR (B) ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100).

This limitation does not apply to liability that cannot legally be limited or excluded.

17. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless RUOFF and its owners, members, managers, officers, employees, contractors, agents, affiliates, licensors, and service providers from and against claims, demands, actions, damages, losses, liabilities, judgments, penalties, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of or relating to:
